The Foundational Gold Standard
The house standard against which every other variant is measured. A high-percentage cocoa base delivers a full-bodied cup with a clean, subtly bitter finish, no cloying sweetness, no thin aftertaste. Built to perform identically across every batch, every barista, every shift.

Consistency Is the Product
Classic Dark is not the flashiest variant on the menu, but it is the one your regulars order without reading the board. We formulated it to dissolve fast and stay thick through a slight boil of up to 2 minutes on an induction hob. One sachet per cup, so the cup you serve at 8am is the same cup you serve at 8pm. On a lean menu, this is the SKU that carries the volume.
Using Classic Dark in a café
Classic Dark comes in pre-portioned sachets. One 50 g sachet makes one cup, so every barista serves the same drink without weighing anything. It makes a thick, dark hot chocolate in a pan with milk, in under 90 seconds.

Questions cafés ask
How do I make it?
Heat 150 to 200 ml of whole milk to a slight boil. Take it off the heat, empty one 50 g sachet into it and whisk until no chocolate flecks are left. Return it to low heat for 10 to 15 seconds if you want it thicker.
How much does one cup cost me?
About ₹47: ₹40 for the sachet and about ₹7 for the milk. Cafés usually price it at ₹180 to ₹220.
Why is it thick?
The mix contains maize starch, which sets as the milk heats. Less milk gives a denser cup, and more milk gives a lighter one.
Can I make it with a coffee machine steam wand?
It works, but we do not recommend it. A steam wand gives a cup below our standard, and the mix can damage the espresso machine. Make it in a pan or on an induction hob instead.
How long does it keep?
12 months in the sealed sachet. Each sachet is one cup, so nothing sits open.
Can I order in bulk?
Yes. Better rates start at 12 kg, which is 12 boxes, and monthly contracts are available.
Stocking Your Café Menu?
Better rates from 12kg. Monthly contracts available.
